Local SEO is just three things: Google Business Profile, your website, and reviews. Get those three right and you'll outrank 80% of your competitors.
1. Google Business Profile (the #1 thing)
Claim it. Verify it. Fill in every field — categories, service areas, hours, services, photos. Post once a week. Reply to every review. This alone will get you into the map pack for most local searches.
2. Your website (the #2 thing)
Have a separate page for each suburb you service. Have a separate page for each major service. Mention the suburb name naturally in the heading, intro, and a few times in the body. Add your NAP (name, address, phone) consistently across the site.
3. Reviews (the #3 thing)
After every job, send the customer a direct link to leave a Google review. Aim for at least 20 reviews in the first 6 months. Respond to every single one. This is the single biggest trust signal Google uses.
